Sales Executive Manager

At the moment, SumatoSoft is looking for a high-performing Sales Team Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for managing the direct sales team, maximizing its potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Challenges and goals you’ll own

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt the cold sales approach and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive cold sales strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and market trends.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the direct sales team.
  • Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimal sales execution.
  • Oversee the identification and qualification of potential leads, utilizing various channels including email campaigns, social media, and cold calling.
  • Manage the cold sales pipeline, tracking leads from initial contact to closure and ensuring consistent follow-up and nurturing.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cold sales representatives (researchers, lead generation specialists, SDRs), setting performance targets, and fostering a collaborative and motivated sales culture.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and other departments to align cold sales strategies with overall company goals and ensure a consistent brand message.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, KPIs, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and optimize the cold sales process.
  • Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skill set and performance of the cold sales team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, addressing their needs and concerns to build trust and rapport.
  • Continuously refine and improve cold sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into cold sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other sales departments (such as warm sales or account management) to ensure a seamless customer journey and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage the cold sales department’s budget, allocating resources wisely and demonstrating a strong ROI on sales efforts.
  • Represent the company in various events, socializing events, and other activities and facilitate the promotion and branding of the company and its services.

What we expect from you

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in direct sales in IT.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong understanding of sales tactics and strategies.
  • Strong business sense and IT industry expertise.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales team manager/lead building the processes of cold lead generation and sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent marketing and selling skills.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about sales.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences. Self-driven and proactive.

English language requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written English skills (Advanced level)
